The following year I studied at the London College of Fashion only to return to London in 2005 to intern with Alexander McQueen. It was then that my creative thinking expanded and changed. In 2009 I landed a job as the assistant director of fashion at my alum AiPH. That same year, I made a wallet and showed a friend. She purchased it right on the street, showed a friend who then wanted a wallet. It was then my small business started. I've been lucky enough to visit Paris, Barcelona, Madrid, London, Rome, Florence, California, Florida, Virginia, Georgia, New York, Massachusetts, and Puerto Rico.

Although I was born and raised in South Jersey, Philly has been my heart and home for over 30 years. Living and working in Philly has peaked my environmental awareness, inspiring me to seek out ways to reduce waste of existing fabrics. Ninety-nine percent of the fabrics I use are discontinued swatches from mills around the world. My design signature is a harmonious blending of color, print, and texture. It's also important to me that the proportion of print size stays true to the silhouette of the product. I do not have a specific inspirational reference within my work; it's the fabrics that inspire me as to how and where to begin. The weight, color, and print of the fabric "speak" to me and command their ideal arrangements. To enhance and complete the overall aesthetic, I often embellish my work with unusual and sometimes dramatic hardware. This rare combination is what makes my artwork memorable to the discerning eye.
I remember at around 10/11 yrs old asking my parents for a paper route so I could have money to buy every fashion magazine possible. I would tear pages and create a collage of my favorite fashion, architecture, paintings, etc on my bedroom walls. I would tear pages and create a collage of my favorite fashion, architecture, paintings, etc on my bedroom walls. Til this day I still do magazine tears only it's electronic and plastered throughout my phone. I love all 4 seasons but I really enjoy working in my garden during spring and summer. Huge animal lover. I'm a volunteer dog walker at our local pet store.
